Ballistic Protection Standards: Engineering and Threat Levels
Our range of bulletproof vests is designed to meet various safety criteria, including the NIJ Standard 0101.04, providing specialized defense levels for different operational environments.
For flexible wear, lightweight Level II soft armor panels provide protection against various standard handgun rounds. For an upgraded handgun baseline, Level IIIA soft aramid configurations are designed to absorb higher-velocity threats, such as .44 Magnum rounds, often utilized in high-risk security contexts. For defense against high-power rifle ammunition, tactical vests like the Eco Tactical BPV feature integrated front and rear pockets designed to hold rigid Level III ballistic hard plates.
Protection Level Overview
- Level II: Flexible soft armor designed for protection against standard handgun threats.
- Level IIIA: Reinforced soft aramid defense engineered for high-velocity handgun threats.
- Level III: Rigid hard-armor plates designed to stop rifle projectiles.
Each vest type is constructed to address specific safety requirements and operational needs.
